Warehouse Assistant Duties and Responsibilities: Process inventory for deliveries/pickups Sort, organize, and store inventory in the proper location Package items and label them correctly Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors Stack and organize large bulk items Remove inventory from trucks for shipping and/or delivery Move materials from storage to pick-up area or other locations Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards Ensure store, bathrooms, and storage areas are clean at all times Keep warehouse premises neat and clean Update logs and documentation for inventory processing Assist in organizing and maintaining up to date records of inventory Warehouse Assistant Requirements and Qualifications: High school degree or equivalent Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds or more Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment Able to work independently High attention to detail and monitors quality/quantity of inventory Highly organized and able to store items efficiently Must follow all health and safety procedures and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state.
