$25.00 to $28.00 hourly - D. O. E. THIS IS NOT A HIGH PACED, STRESSFUL POSITION. SHOP LOCATED IN NORTH PHOENIX. ABILITY TO WORK WITH MINIMAL SUPERVISION REQUIRED Low key, Mom and Pop construction company, looking for someone with a willingness to work with their employees. Most of current employees have been here 20+ years. Needs to be able to keep shop and supplies clean, organized and be motivated to do quality work. Must have a working background in the diesel/heavy equipment field. Understanding/ability to diagnose various systems and components commonly found on heavy equipment. For example: hydraulic systems, and how they function / fuel systems and their components. Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions. Need to have a can do and safely attitude, who wants to be part of a great team. Needs reliable transportation, be able to perform physically demanding work -sometimes in the outdoors.
