Western Explosives Systems Company (WESCO) is a drill and blast company. This work is hard, physical and fast paced. Employees will be working with explosives products in the mining industry This Laborer position will operate under the blast crew working 45-65 hrs a week Requirements: • Must be able to pass a urine drug test. • Must be able to pass a federal background check with no felonies. • Must have a clean driving record. • Must be able to lift and carry up 50 lbs. • Must be able to pass a physical. 
Job Description: We are looking for individuals who meet the requirements and are responsible. Labors will be working in the blast site with the blasters, helping load holes and stemming by hand or with equipment. We work a fluctuating schedule around the state of Arizona. We work Monday through Friday and an occasional Saturday. We start early in the morning. We meet at our yard or a designated area and ride in a company truck from there. Must have reliable transportation and be punctual. Employees stay out of town sometimes, hotel is paid for by Wesco and employee gets $30 per diem when staying out of town. We work on mine sites and rock quarries. Steel toed boots are required. SAFETY is a top priority for us. We have MSHA regulations to follow, all MSHA training will be provided. We are looking for individuals that are reliable, ready to learn and looking for a long-term career. Working Environment: Must be able to work primarily outdoors in all weather conditions of temperature and climate. Must wear personal protective equipment where required.
