Booming Inland Northwest company looking for a few good, clean, hard working and smart individuals to be mentored into the role of a Lead Technician. As an Assistant Radiographer, you will be trained on working to assist the Lead Technician in imaging metal in multiple settings at various job sites across the United States. The opportunity for career growth in this industry is endless! No prior experience needed. Duties Quickly setup equipment to image target areas defined by customer Help establish and maintain safe working areas for occupational workers and members of the public Maintaining constant surveillance and immediate control of industrial radiographic equipment at all times while in use. Providing the required notification to appropriate management personnel in the event of an incident, and to provide assistance as necessary. Verifying prior to performing radiographic operations, that the radiographic device, associated equipment and personnel used under their supervision during the performance of radiographic operations are in accordance with company procedures and the regulations or the jurisdiction where radiographic operations are being conducted. Assist in completion of proper documentation and reports associated with radiographic operations. Learn and abide by company policies and procedures Support in security and control of industrial radiographic equipment during its use and transportation The Assistant Radiographer must be comfortable in an outdoor construction environment and able to adapt to multiple outdoor weather conditions. Requirements: REQUIRED to be available to work days, nights, weekends; travel likely required Must be available to work 10+ hour days, 6 days per week Outgoing positive attitude, exhibiting professionalism at its highest degree Must pass a required pre-employment alcohol/drug screen and pre-employment background check Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. or more Must adhere to all safety rules and regulations as SAFETY is of highest priority General construction and/or some welding experience desirable, some technical aptitude is helpful Please respond with your resume via email.
