OYSTER BAY, NY — A new walk-up window is now available at Town Hall North in Oyster Bay where residents can seek help with tasks such as applying for a parking permit, requesting a birth or death certificate, and obtaining a marriage license.
As many local governments restrict in-person interactions at government facilities, the new walk-up window gives Town of Oyster Bay residents a safe option for in-person services during the coronavirus pandemic, Town Clerk Richard LaMarca, said Friday.
The walk-up window is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
"Since the COVID-19 public health crisis began, I am proud that my office has remained fully operational to best assist our residents. The well-being of residents and employees has remained the Town's top priority throughout the pandemic, and that is why my office is offering a safe option to make in-person transactions while following all social distancing guidelines," LaMarca said in a statement.
