Jacy Corner is a locally owned small business shoe store. We are looking for experienced sales people who are motivated and outgoing with a track record in retail sales. We offer incentive based pay: the more you sell, the more you earn. You will receive commission on every item sold when you meet the minimum requirements. However, if you do not wish to work on commission, we offer minimum wage pay. As of 2022, that is $13 an hour in NJ. This would be a full-time position from Monday-Saturday. Hours are from 9:30-6:30 M-Th and 10-7 F-Sat. There is a 30-min lunch break. Responsibilities include: - greeting customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner - describing and selling products to customers by being knowledgable about current stock - maintaining store cleanliness - unloading and stocking new shipments (these are HEAVY boxes so you must be able to lift them and bring them up/down stairs) Specific Knowledge and Skills: - ** must be physically able to go up and down stairs to bring stock to customers - work independently and self-motivated - communication skills - conflict resolution
