ISO small breed dog

Hi, we are a family in Freeport, Michigan. We kids and other pets. We live in the country on an acre of land adjacent to state land. I'm looking for a small fluffy female dog. House broken would be a plus. She would be a companion for me I am a stay at home mom due to a diagnosis of cancer in 2019. I had a sheltie papillon for the last 13 years but recently lost her to cancer. I just would like a companion to spend time and do things with. I'm super lonely without my Mila. Our yard isn't fenced but I have a large outdoor kennel. 10×30. Thanks
