Essential Functions: • Manually or mechanically load and empty residential and/or commercial containers into truck. • Assist driver with backup maneuvers while on route • Some containers may be curbside and are require to be pulled out to complete service. • Notify owner of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage. • Communicate customer requests to driver and or owner • Assist other drivers as needed to meet customer needs Marginal Functions: • Assist with routine truck and property maintenance as needed Qualifications: • MUST be a US Citizen or Green card Holder • MUST be at least 18 years old. • Ability to read, understand and communicate effectively • Ability to read and write English legibly • Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and perform duties without supervision. • Ability to regularly bend, twist, and lift and carry up to 35 lbs, stand and walk up to 8 hours a day Work Environment • Required to exert physical effort in handling objects less than 35 pounds most of the work day; • Required to be exposed to physical occupational risks (such as cuts, burns, exposure to chemicals, etc.) occasionally; • Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements occasionally; • Normal setting for this job is: manual labor.
