The purpose of this event is to improve the knowledge and skills within the domain of immediate and emergency care. Agenda: Welcome and Lecture Skills Training Critical Incident Simulations Debriefing Case Studies Closing Remarks Location: UCF's Main Campus Cost: No charge Cancellation: Send an email to [email protected] as soon as possible if you need to cancel. Program Faculty: Darryl Conway, MA, LAT, ATC and Carlos J Gual, EdD, LAT, ATC Contact Hours: Up to 5.25 hours Sponsors/Partners: UCF College of Health Professions and Sciences/ Extreme Simulations Required Materials: The workshop will include simulated labs and will include simulated blood and wounds. It’s highly encouraged that participant wear clothes that they do not mind if it gets dirty or potentially stained. Bring your personal CPR mask. It is suggested that you bring your personal on-field sling/fanny pack. Registration: CEU space is limited to 40 participants. A waitlist will be utilized. Individuals will be notified if they are on the waitlist and if a space becomes available to them. Only register if you are committed to attending. DO NOT register if you are unsure if you can come. We want to make sure we make every spot available for individuals that will attend and benefit from this workshop. If you register and something changes, and you can no longer attend, notify me ([email protected]) as soon as possible so I can offer the space to the next individual on the waitlist. All other tickets are for observation only.
