About Black Leaders Detroit Fully aware that Detroiters of African descent have never lacked creativity, viable economic strategies, entrepreneurial zeal, or innovative business models, the Black Leaders Detroit Fund aims to diminish the disparities by providing the one thing that has been lacking: financial support. About Ride for Equity A bike ride from Detroit to Mackinaw to raise money for black entrepreneurs and bring awareness to the importance of equitable funding practices. We're raising money to support small black businesses! Speak For Yourself Ride for Equity & Black Leaders Detroit in partnership with The Petoskey District Library and the Petoskey Chamber of Commerce will host Speak For Yourself. This forums will focus on building better relationships and increasing awareness concerning equity and inclusion.
