Come learn about the 11 species of owls that can be found in Northern Colorado. During the presentation, Scott will be discussing the natural history of the 11 species of owls that can be found in Northern Colorado. You will learn about the Snowy Owl, Great Horned Owl, Barn Owl. both Long-eared and Short-eared Owls, Eastern Screech Owl, Burrowing Owl, Boreal Owl, Northern Pygmy-Owl. Northern Saw-whet Owl, and the Flammulated Owl. During the presentation, you will see photos and videos of each species in their respective habitats. You will also see photos and videos of the owls courting, hunting, delivering prey to their nestlings and much more. You will hear stories of Scott's more than 30 years spent working with many of these magnificent birds.
