Join us Wednesday, May 18 for Tequila School – a tasting experience. With genuine Guadalara cuisine and a variety of tequilas and infusions Whistle Pig Brewing is excited to present, “When life gives you lemons, find some more fruit and grab some Tequila for something really special.” The Expert, Melissa Ray, is back for Tequila School. She has a unique lesson plan that includes a traditional tasting of 4 to 6 tequilas, a cocktail pairing with Jalisco-styled dinner (brought to you by the Original Dr. Taco), and house-made infused tequilas for a true one-of-a-kind experience. You can expect Melissa to mix her incredible knowledge with fun tastings, a discussion on cocktails and infusions to make your summer gatherings better (than all your friends), this school will provide what you need to up your party game and give you some fun ideas for summer. School starts at 6 pm where you will enjoy a Whistle Pig selected tequila cocktail paired with a Jalisco dinner hand prepared by the Original Dr. Taco himself, Carlo. We have a wonderful meal planned with Guadalajara staples. The cocktail will compliment and bring out the flavors of the Jalisco cuisine and prepare your palette for the main event, Tequila tastings and infusions. At 6:30 class begins and the journey to a new love and appreciation for the complexities and wonderful flavor of Tequila, tequila cocktails, and infusions. Trendy, fun, and tasty are the buzzwords for tequila and not slat, lime and shooters. Melissa Ray leads us on an exploration of the different varieties and offerings as we are introduced to and savor 4 hand-selected Tequilas and so much more! Expect surprises and bonus tastings, giveaways and takeaways.
