Our panel will share their perspectives Rigor in research can provide deep insights, an accurate representation of your users, and inspire innovative experiences that serve the needs of your users. But at what point do research processes get resistance from agile product teams, and why? How do we as designers reach the right balance of advocating for data driven decisions while also leveraging the expertise of our product team? Our panel of seasoned research and design experts will share their perspectives on how to achieve the right balance, and how that can impact your research methodologies,recruiting process, collaboration with your team, analysis, and sharing of your findings. We'll also discuss how to avoid "analysis paralysis." Audience members will get a chance to contribute their own questions for our panel as well. Madeline Yurkoski: As a Senior Researcher within Procter & Gamble's oral care business, Madeline works to enable a seamless experience for connected toothbrush users. She also has a background in innovation and strategic advertising. Sam Uhling is a Senior Product Designer at Kroger. She is happiest when she’s exploring the depths of a complex enterprise. When she's not UXing, she's making soap and beer in her basement while listening to a podcast about murder.
