Give monarch butterflies a good start by raising them the healthy way Butterflies have a number of things going against them from loss of habitat, pesticides, predators and diseases. Kim White, the Natural Naturalist and DuPage Monarch Project Educator, will share techniques for providing a healthy start for monarch butterflies. Raising a monarch butterfly from an egg or caterpillar is an opportunity for experiencing the wonder of nature. Kim’s class will show how to prevent spreading monarch diseases and parasites with healthy caterpillar food and clean enclosures. Suggestion donation: $10
