TEWKSBURY, MA—The town of Tewksbury has partnered with the Merrimack River Watershed Council and a local engineering firm, Weston and Sampson, on a town-wide study of flooding issues and their potential solutions. They will be sharing the findings at an upcoming public meeting.
The town will be sharing the survey's findings, the flood modeling and potential solutions at an upcoming public meeting at the Tewksbury Public Library at 300 Chandler Street on May 23, 2020, 6-7 p.m. The meeting will also be live-streamed on the town's YouTube page: www.youtube.com/tewksburytv
The town asks residents to attend the meeting to learn how their opinions are guiding the development of solutions, what green infrastructure is and how it can be used to mitigate flooding.
