On Monday, May 9, 2022, the Shrewsbury Water Department will be performing a brief water shut down on Route 20 between South Street and Walnut Street. Homes and businesses in the shaded areas may be interrupted for a brief time between the hours of 10am and 2pm. This water interruption is necessary to better understanding the condition of existing water distribution system infrastructure in the area for planning future repairs and valve replacements.
Residents in the vicinity of the impacted area may have discolored water due to the interruption in water service. If you experience discolored water now that service has been restored, please run the cold water in an outside faucet, or downstairs bathtub until it clears.
