Press release from the Town of Shrewsbury: May 9, 2022 Contractor, Hydra Tech, is scheduled to continue flushing in Zone 2 overnight Monday and Tuesday, May 9 & 10, 2022, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM. On Monday night, May 9th, they will be flushing Route 9 from the Worcester city line to Oak Street, Oak Street from Maple Avenue to Route 9, Maple Avenue from Oak Street to Route 9, and adjoining side streets along Route 9. On Tuesday night, May 10th, they will be flushing the Concord Road, Lexington Road, Minuteman Way, and Bunker Hill Road neighborhood. Residents that have water booster pumps in their homes should take the necessary precautions to protect them both nights as water service is expected to be interrupted in areas of low pressure due to the flushing.
