SALEM, MA — Police say a woman was struck and killed by a Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority outbound commuter tail train. Officers were called to the scene around 5 p.m. Sunday and said a woman had died as a result of the injuries she sustained after being hit. An initial investigation found the woman had been trespassing on the tracks and no foul play is currently suspected. The woman's name has not been released. Police say the incident is currently being investigated.
