Meet Max aka Maxey-Moose. He’s just under 1.5 years, weighs about 60lbs. He’s from Texas, I think he’s got some Blackmouth Cur, or maybe some Rhodesian Ridgeback (but he doesn’t have a ridge). We rescued Max in January ‘22, and he’s been a great addition, but we cannot keep him as he does not jive with our three small cats. He needs someone active, with a yard to run around. He does well with other dogs when we go to our local dog park, he does well with my two elementary school aged kids. Pros He’s Microchipped and clipped (neutered) Fully vaxxed and up to date until next January He’s SO sweet We’ve begun clicker training He’s FULL of energy/loves to play Kennel trained Knows basic commands Sit, Stay, Lay Down, Shake a paw. Working on “Heel” Cons High prey drive (should NOT go to a house with small pets including small dogs) Dietary restrictions- he needs a high fiber diet. I’m happy to answer questions I’ll give you whatever gear we have including toys, blanket, bowls and food/treats. I also bought in advance his monthly flea/tick/heartworm meds so I can give you the next couple months. Because of all the gear and my desire for him to go to a serious loving home rehoming fee will be $350 (it’s less than we paid for his rescue fees, plus you’re getting a bunch of gear).
