Description

We would like to welcome the community through our doors for an exclusive grand opening event in Clarksville's premier coworking space! Initially, a concept idea imagined years ago by Leo Millan, Chief Member of Millan Enterprises, The Press was created to provide a launching pad for entrepreneurs, start-ups, creatives, and more. Leo conceptualized a space where enterprisers could gather for a quick coffee, network with other members, form community, and grow. Acquired by Millan Enterprises, the Leaf-Chronicle building was and remains a local focal point for the Clarksville community. Inside the 102-year-old walls, ink was driven and pressed into newsprint paper at intense speeds as the local community and world's stories were written into history. Originating as a weekly newspaper as early as 1808, The Leaf-Chronicle, "Tennessee's Oldest Newspaper," inspired creativity, bred aspirations, and prospered on hard work. The Press pays homage to the inspired foundation on which it is created, endeavoring to inspire the same qualities in the reimagined coworking space. The first full stage of this multi-year restoration project is finally complete, and they greatly look forward to showing the members of the community what they've created! Attendees can expect refreshments, a breakfast bar, gift bags, an art exhibit from the massively talented local "Art Link," keynote speakers, including the incredibly successful Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts, and more! The Press is also extremely excited to reveal that they are gifting one lucky event attendee the keys to a private office suite for one whole year. That's right. If you're dreaming about taking the next step in your business, if you want to bring your dreams to fruition, join us for our event, and we hope to help you make that happen, and possibly for free if you're the lucky winner! "We are ready to offer entrepreneurial, creative, and ambitious people a space to gather, dream, and move business forward," - Leo Millan. The total restoration project is not yet complete; a coffee shop and other amenities are in development for the first level of the historic building and are expected to be completed by the end of the year.
