"After consulting with other municipalities across Suffolk County, we have elected to reopen per the Governor's recent Executive Order," Lupinacci stated in a news release. "Preventive measures will continue to be employed so that our golfing community can safely enjoy our beautiful courses."
The two golf courses originally reopened in late March, but the Town reversed course roughly a week later. However, with the state giving golf courses the green light, golfers can return to the fairway.
