NORTHPORT, NY — A stretch of Fort Salonga Road in Northport was closed after a Thursday afternoon crash, Northport Police told Patch. A car crashed into a pole in front of CVS at 753 Fort Salonga Road, police said. The driver was brought to a nearby hospital to be checked out, police said. The road was closed from Ray Place to Laurel Road, the Suffolk County Police Department told Patch at 5:30 p.m.
