Press release from Quaker Valley School District: May 5, 2022 Ten students were selected to represent QV at the event. On Friday, April 22, ten QV string musicians visited East Allegheny Junior/Senior High School to participate in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) Elementary Strings Festival. This year, 109 string musicians performed in a variety of different genres. Guest conductor Dr. Alexandra Dee, from IUP, led the students through various pieces and rehearsed all day with them.
