NEW KENSINGTON, PA — Westmoreland County's district attorney said a video allegedly connected with the killing of 9-year-old Azuree Charles did not come from her office. DA Nicole Ziccarelli said a person seen in the footage is not someone officials consider a suspect at this time. No suspects have been identified in Charles' death, which Ziccarelli's office is investigating as a homicide. Ziccarelli's full statement was: "Please be advised that the Commonwealth did not release a video to any media outlet in regard to the investigation of the homicide of Azuree Charles. Furthermore, the individual in the video in question has been identified and is not a person of interest at this time. Dissemination of this video was never requested by this office nor will it assist the investigation." Charles was found dead in New Kensington on Wednesday near a neighbor's house in East Ken Manor, local media outlets said. Ziccarelli's office has a person of interest in the case, according to the Tribune-Review. Anyone with information that could help investigators is asked to contact her office at 724-339-7533. Azuree's aunt Madorne Lemaime told the Tribune-Review that Charles was recovering from health issues and was "the most friendly kid."
