Front Desk Clerk The Mainstreet Inn located in Doylestown is seeking a friendly, outgoing, customer-service focused individual to join their team as a Front Desk Clerk. The Front Desk Clerk is responsible for providing a pleasant and memorable experience for all guests. Full and part time positions are available to applicants willing to work a flexible schedule including, varied shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. **Please apply in person at the Mainstreet Inn in Doylestown 625 N. Main St., Doylestown, PA 18901** Responsibilities: Greet, register and service guests in a friendly and courteous manner according to hotel standardsImmediately greet guest and offer to assist with their needsAccurately execute/maintain reservations, arrivals, and departuresCompute bills, collect payments, and make changes for guestsRespond to guest requests in a timely mannerResolve guest complaints/concerns quickly and efficiently, elevating to supervisor if necessaryBe aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfactionResponsible for cash balancing and credit card processingLearn emergency procedures of hotel and how to handle each situationProtect guest's privacy including room number and personal informationKnow makeup of hotel and surrounding area including local attractionsComplete daily reports and procedures as required by managementKeep work area and back office clean and organizedSet requests for wake-up calls for guests as neededEnsure security of building and safety of guestsOther duties and items assigned by manager Qualifications: Previous customer service experienceExcellent interpersonal communication skills in person and by phoneMust be able to multitask, function in a professional manner under pressure from guests Physical Requirements: Stand and walk for extended periods of timeProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift 25 pounds at times **Please apply in person at the Mainstreet Inn in Doylestown 625 N.
