Allagash Brewing Company in Portland, Maine would like to speak with you about becoming our next Warehouse Operations Associate. We’re looking for a Warehouse Operations Associate to join our warehouse team. Our warehouse and brewery are 2 miles apart, with the need for continuous transfer of materials in support of our lean and efficient operation. This position is responsible for loading, unloading, and moving pallets of raw materials and finished goods. Additional responsibilities will include picking and scanning orders, and storing and organizing materials. Our dedicated team of Warehouse Associates take great pride in ensuring and maintaining a high level of quality through raw material and finished goods inspections, shipping quality orders with no damaged product, and shipping wholesaler orders with no mis-ships. Operating forklifts and pallet jacks with precision throughout the course of the shift is a key aspect of the position as well. Experience driving a forklift is preferred, but will train the right candidate. In addition, once hired we can provide training and support towards a Class A CDL, and cover all costs associated with getting the Class A license. This is a full-time position (Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p) that requires a combination of standing and sitting, with the need to regularly lift up to 60 pounds.
