Calling all little bakers!! Do you have a little one that loves to bake or is interested in learning how to make delicious, beautiful treats? 👩‍🍳🧑🏽‍🍳👩🏾‍🍳👨🏼‍🍳 I am an experienced baker and childcare provider and am offering a 4 week kids baking camp!! Each week of our camp, your kiddos will be making a yummy snack and decorating desserts that I've premade (there just isn't enough time to do it all during our 3 hour window) so the focus will be on having fun and learning how to decorate desserts! Here's what is on the calendar (subject to change) Week One: your child will be decorating their very own apron that they will get to take home at the end of our 4 week camp We will spend much of the first day learning kitchen safety, learning the terms and uses for different decorating tools and general rules of the kitchen Our treat theme for week one, is sweet & savory. We will be making granola bars and popcorn bark 🍿 Week Two: the theme of our treats this week is carnival! We will make soft pretzels and our decorating project will be clown cupcakes! 🤡 Week Three: the theme of our treats this week is camp out We will be making "dirt and worms" trifle cups and decorating a personal bear cake to take home 🏕️ Week Four: the theme of our treats this week is self love! We will be making PB&J thumbprint cookies and decorating heart cookies using tie dye and wet on wet decorating techniques and your little ones will make their very own self portrait cookie! Heart ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤 If there is time at the end of each class, I will pull out fun baking tools for your little baker to have a chance to use, like an airbrush machine, cookie projector and fondant/fondant tools. There is so much fun to be had in the kitchen! For safety reasons, we can only have 3-4 kids per class, so there are different time window options, to choose from. I will update this post as classes fill up. Begin date is to be determined depending on interest and feedback from families. Will update as soon as it has been decided.
