Description
Looking to rehome my millipede collection and enclosure. Moving and can't take it. I have a 20 gallon long tank and several species of millipedes in the same tank that cohabitate beautifully. There are also sprint-tails in the enclosure to serve as cleaner insects to eat the millipede droppings.
Millipedes burrow and are nocturnal they come out mostly at night to eat fresh fruits and vegetables, but other than that they stay buried in the substrate which is also a food source. They are a joy to see when they are out!
They are super easy to take care of and everything needed to give them a good home will be included.
The list of millipedes that are in the enclosure are as follows:
Anadenobolus monilicornis- Bumblebee Millipede- at least 3 of them in the enclosure, but haven't seen them for a while.
Narceus americanus- North American Giant Millipede- at least 4 of them in the enclosure that I have observed
Narceus gordanus- Smokey Oak Millipede- at least 3 of them in the enclosure that I have observed
Trigonilus coralinus- Scarlet Milipede- at least 3 of them in the enclosure that I have observed
Rehome fee applies.
