As an elected official, a nonprofit leader, and an organizer, Izzy has seen the limits of what we can do while Harrisburg blocks our ability to make change – so he’s going to Harrisburg to get more done. About this position: GOTV Canvassers will go door-to-door to canvass supporters and likely supporters of Izzy in the last four days of the campaign and make sure everyone gets out to vote. Canvassers will talk to voters about how to return their mail-in ballots and how to vote in person. On Election Day, canvassers will knock doors and some may be stationed at polling places as greeters. Compensation: Canvassers will be paid at $18.50/hr. Responsibilities: Canvass targeted doors in PA State House District 49 Persuade undecided voters to vote for Izzy Smith-Wade-El for State Representative. Ensure voters have a plan to get to the polls or return their mail-in ballot on time *On election day only,* greet voters at the polls with literature about Izzy and other endorsed Democrats and be prepared to answer questions. Schedule: To be considered for a paid role, canvassers must be available for the entirety of the shift and on time. We are prioritizing canvassers available all day on Election Day.
