Maintenance/Facilities RenCorp Realty — Spokane, WA 99201 Real Estate Development and Property Management firm seeks following: Light Maintenance/Grounds Position is responsible for routine general building grounds and light maintenance on commercial and residential properties. Example of Duties: Performs grounds upkeep on all properties; lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing; and weeds landscaped areas. Removes snow and ice from walkways, parking lots, sanding and plowing equipment as directed. Must maintain positive relations with customers, other employees, managers, and the general public. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 2 years routine building facility maintenance, grounds keeping or related work; or experience which clearly demonstrates the applicant's ability to assume the duties and responsibilities of the position. Knowledge and Experience in minor plumbing and routine repairs. Basic carpentry skills, drywall repair, vinyl flooring/tile, flooring and tile are a plus and highly desired. License: Must possess a valid Washington State driver's license and current insurance. Must have and maintain a clean driving record. Physical Capability: The physical activity of position requires the ability to climb, stoop kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp and talk. Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently; and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Visual acuity to determine depth and field of vision. Repetitive motions of the wrists, hands and/or fingers. Knowledge of modern facility and grounds maintenance equipment and techniques. Knowledge in the care and use of equipment, i.e., plow truck, snow blowers, lawn equipment and carpentry tools. Ability to rapidly learn the activities and procedures related to the duties and responsibilities of the position and to establish and maintain good employee relations. Ability to drive vans, trucks and snowplows in a safe manner, ability to withstand extreme environmental conditions, i.e., heat, cold, dust, diesel smoke and pollen. Ability to read written instructions and write clearly. Ability to maintain and use various gas and electrical equipment such as, but not limited to, power mower, edger, sweeper. Must be able to move between multiple locations within the downtown area to work at a variety of properties. Must be willing to work varying hours Monday - Friday and on call weekends for emergencies. Full time position with benefits: Job Type: Full-time Salary: $18.00 to $24.00 /hour
