Painter Needed to Paint Porch Rails This task is located at a house in a neighborhood on the south end of Bedford Indiana near Washington and 39th. You don’t have to be a professional, but you do need to know what you’re doing. It’s a relatively simple job that can be done in one day or possibly two or three depending on how you see fit and how fast you choose to work. All supplies are on site: paint, ladders (full sized and step), rollers, brushes, trays, drop cloth, tape and stir sticks etc. A primer coat is not needed, however, it may require two coats of paint. If you have your own paint sprayer, you can certainly bring it and use it (there’s an electric outlet on the porch). You must have your own transportation. Photo ID is also required. You must also be over 18 and be able to enter in to a simple contract. If under 18, a note from your legal guardian will suffice and they’ll sign the basic contract on your behalf. If interested, please reply to this listing. From there I will respond with photographs of the porch railings that need to be painted. At that point you will be able to submit a preliminary quote. Job pays cash at completion and is for the entire job, no per hour wages or payments. Important: You may bring your own helper, but only one. You will be 100% responsible for this individual per the contract. WHAT TO PAINT: two horizontal railings roughly 45 feet long, the vertical slats/spindles between the rails (approximately 60 of them), several vertical box columns and their moldings. The concrete porch does not need to be painted, in fact neatness is key and no paint drips on the actual concrete porch. There are also other odd jobs and painting jobs and landscaping jobs available at the property in the very near future. All of them are basic and simple if you already have at least some experience.
