HORTICULTURE DELIVERY & INSTALLATION -- FULL TIME (Portland Metro) We install and maintain interior plantscapes for corporate offices, hotels, and high-end residences. The ideal candidate to complement our team will have a friendly personality, enthusiasm and energy, and a willingness to learn. This is a physically demanding job that requires walking and lifting up to 75 lbs. It is desirable you have past Horticulture experience, but not necessary. Great people skills are necessary to work with our team and our customers. You must be well-organized, be able to problem solve and communicate issues that may arise on the job. Must be able to work independently as well as within a team, and be able to follow a schedule. DAY-TO-DAY KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Driving to different locations on an assigned route to deliver plants at various buildings throughout the city. This includes new installations where you would deliver plants inside a decorative container. Pulling, cleaning and organizing the plants that are getting installed. Watering the plants after they get installed. Taking photos and uploading them to the work orders after installation. WAGE: $17 to $19 hr. depending on experience with the ability to earn more with profit sharing quarterly among the whole Service Support Team. REQUIREMENTS: Interior horticulture experience highly recommended. Must have an attention to detail and appreciate the benefits of plants. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Customer Service Experience: Must display excellent customer service skills and be courteous and respectful of clientele. Be able to work some Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and evenings when overtime is needed. (not often) Proficiency in English; excellent verbal and written skills. Be willing and able to pass drug test (excludes cannabis) & background check upon preliminary job offer Benefits for full time; Vacation pay after one year of employment, Sick pay and Holiday pay after 90 days. 401K Matching. 4 - 10 hour work shifts (Monday - Thursday) Health and Dental after 90 days.
