Description
I’m looking to rehome my loveable giant, English mastiff male. He is great with adults, other dogs and kids but he does tend to focus on/chase cats. He has never caught or killed one but with his size (tall and roughly 160 lbs) I imagine he easily could. He is intact and current on his vaccines.
He is the most gentle boy, he’s 2 years old and we’ve had him for the last year. He is AKC registered, but the man I adopted him from was in the middle of a nasty divorce and either never found them or just never followed through in sending them to me. He does not handle the heat well and will need to be a house dog. He’s mellow and very well behaved. He knows the basic commands, will heel on and off leash, loves to ride in the car. He goes to stores with me and is a gentleman to take a bath. He will bark as an alert but is not obnoxious. He is not aggressive in the slightest, and he’s a wonderful babysitter with my kids ages 2, 4 and 6.
I am only considering a new home for him because I am spread thin between my other obligations and I see how lonely he is. I am gone most every day and he’s in the back yard, and the heat is already too much for him. I brought him with me on our 1,600 mile move from Idaho and he traveled like a champ. He would love to be the center of someone’s family, I just wish it could be mine.
I will be very picky on where he goes, please email or text me with why you think you’d be a good home for him or with any questions you may have. Rehoming fee does apply, 5xx
Thank you
