Description

This role will manage the efficient set up and operation of a 3 color flexo press using solvent based inks, operate plate engraving equipment, and manage warehouse operations. Job Responsibilities Adjust press parameters as needed to ensure proper speed, pressure, temperature and amount of materials for quality production. Measure, weigh and examine all products before they’re packaged to see that they meet company and industry standards. Monitor and control machines on a daily basis to maintain daily and weekly production schedule. Measure, weigh, and mix solvent based inks to maintain precise color measurements. Make sure work environment remains safe, uncluttered, clean and well-maintained by performing maintenance and general janitorial duties throughout shift as time allows. Look over all work orders and instructions to see which ingredients, machines, parts and materials are needed to complete orders to full customer satisfaction. Engage in continuing education training. Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and maintain machines and equipment during high speed operation. Monitor Inventory and Supplies Forklift Experience a plus but will train Job Skills & Qualifications Able to lift at least 75 pounds Basic mechanical repair knowledge (automotive, mechanical machines, etc) Physical dexterity Experience is preferred but not necessary. Paid training is available.
