Hi, I'm Anastasia🎀 (dog friendly, BUT…need to keep separate initially, with a SLOW introduction to dog in home.). I am set to be euthanized May 12th. Why am I E-listed? STRESS!!...I’m REALLY struggling BAD! Sadly, frustration from long periods of confinement has caused me to bark at people passing by and jump at the kennel gate because I WANT OUT!! Can you blame me? This is not the place for a sweet girl like me. I need a home! I’m starting to injure myself!! It’s just not humane to keep me here. Who can save my life? I don’t want to die in this shelter. I need a hero ASAP! I’m a 4-year-old, spayed, white and gray American Pit Bull Terrier mix (38 lbs.) I am a volunteer favorite at the shelter. Volunteers say I am a happy, sweet little girl who gets so excited when someone comes to get me that I can’t stop wagging my tail. I love attention, lean into petting, and take treats gently. I am easy to take and return to my kennel, and I’m non-reactive to other dogs, and I’m easy to walk but sometimes get anxious and stop walking when I hear dogs barking. This scary, chaotic place is the problem, not me. I just need out of here ASAP and into a loving home. If someone is looking for an affectionate companion, that’s me! The shelter recommends that I meet the entire family before going home, and that children in the home be older, and that I have help with my leash skills. Will you come and meet me?
