Learn to Draw and Paint! Private Art Tutor/Class

I am offering one on one, private drawing, painting and everything in between classes. All aspects of drawing and painting will be explored including : Perspective, Anatomy, Value Relations, Texture, Color Relationships, Light, Form and Composition. We create floral still lives, live model sessions, and mini workshops based on each students’ desired goals and objectives. Scheduling and duration are up to you, as I am flexible on schedule. Classes are often taught in the evenings, or weekends. Usually each class lasts 2 - 3 hours, and typically all my students are recurring weekly. I have a large sunlight studio off the Jefferson L train in Brooklyn with a great view of the skyline of Manhattan. Sessions are typically held here, as well as field trips to the Metropolitan Museum of Art Sculpture Garden, for drawing sessions! Outdoor/plein air classes can also be done, weather permitting. I can also hold classes at your home or studio, depending on location and time. The event start/end date on craigslist are just starting points. As stated above, the schedule and duration are up to you. I am a practicing artist with an MFA from the New York Academy of Art. I currently work in sculpture, but have had extensive experience working in 2D for 20+ years. I have taught in many formats including high school, college, and graduate levels respectively. This class is a great opportunity for any adult, beginner or experienced, looking for skill sets not taught in high school or college. A great way to relax, turn off your phone, improve and challenge yourself in a beautiful setting. I charge 40$ per hour at my studio, and 70$ per hour offsite, with some flexibility.
