ORLANDO, FL — Disney World is increasing the cost of some of its entry passes, according to data on the theme park's website. The price change went into effect on Tuesday, Feb. 11. Bay News 9 reported prices for some Disney World annual passes for Florida residents, however, are not increasing. Not all passes are going to keep being sold, but Disney shared the blockout dates and benefits for pass holders. Here's a list of updated prices: Disney Platinum Plus Pass: now $1,295 (still $999 for Florida residents) Admission for a year to all four theme parks, two Disney water parks, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and Disney's Oak trail Golf Course (no blockout dates)Visit all four theme parks on the same dayIncludes Disney PhotoPass downloadsUp to 20 percent off on select diningUp to 20 percent off select merchandise in storeStandard theme park parkingDisney Platinum Pass: now $1,195 (still $899 for Florida residents) Admission for a year to all four theme parks (no blockout dates)Visit all four theme parks on the same dayIncludes Disney PhotoPass downloadsUp to 20 percent off on select diningUp to 20 percent off select merchandise in storeStandard theme park parkingWater Parks Annual Pass: $139 Enjoy one year of admission to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park (during normal operating hours).Gold and Silver passes, available to Florida residents only, are each going up by $20, according to the Bay News 9 report. Gold passes are now $719 and Silver passes are now $539. The outlet reported the Theme Park Select Pass will remain at $439, the Weekday Select Pass is up by $20 to $369 and the Epcot After 4 Pass is up by $10 to $319.
