Bella is an absolute sweetheart, we have had her since she was 4 months old and were her second owners. Bella does a lot of things really well but one thing she struggles with is being alone. Bella is fully housebroken, knows how to ; come, go lay down, kennel, sit, go outside, and can jump into your arms from the ground if you call her up. She is kennel trained (kennel command means go into the kennel), and travels very well! She loves kids and other animals, though she does chase our chickens on occasion. Her breed is ShihTzu and Yorkie and she has the most adorable underbite. It’s been vet checked and does not bother her. She is also fixed and microchipped. Our family welcomed a new baby with unexpected medical complications last fall requiring us to travel to both Sacramento as well as San Francisco much more frequently than is fair for Bella. She has always struggled to be alone but it has gotten worse since our initial 3 week hospitalization for our infants open heart surgery, and all the trips since then. My heart breaks each long road trip day when I know she is alone.. Bella would make an excellent addition to any dog pack, or an only dog. We have 2 other dogs, both of whom could care less when we come/go.. She would do well with or without kiddos as well as she is low energy and tends to be more of a couch potato.. She has a soft spot for kibbles and we will send her slow feeder bowl with her.. One shave each summer is a fun thing we like to do with her, but her hair stops growing all over at about 6” in length so she does need to be brushed if you let her hair grow long. Her re-homing fee is nominal, negotiable, and depends how far away you are. We love Bella very much and only want to deliver her to a loving and safe forever home, what we thought we could be for her.. cost of fuel + $75 and the promise that if you cannot keep her you will bring her back to us. Cost of fuel just requested as we would like to make sure her new home is safe for her. We aren’t asking to do a home inspection just a basic verification that you have somewhere to call home and the ability to care for her. Please feel free to reach out via email or text anytime. We have a long echocardiogram/ekg and cardiology evaluation tomorrow in Sacramento but will be home the rest of the week. Next week we have 2 appointments as well..
