FOUND FEMALE SENIOR DOG

FOUND FEMALE DOG near Valley Vista and Beverly Glen in Sherman Oaks at about 10am this morning Monday May 9. Well groomed and cared for senior. She's clearly not an outdoor dog nor street savvy... someone is missing this sweet girl. She is wearing a collar but no tags. She is currently safe in our care and will be held in foster for her family. She has been posted on NextDoor and I'm posting her now on all the interweb lost doggie sites. Good Samaritans found her this morning and called me because my rescue was the original purchaser of her microchip... but somehow her microchip is not registered. So she IS a Foreverhome Pet Rescue doggo AND a senior - which is why she's not going to the shelter. We will let East Valley know in case her family looks there. We do not recognize her... but she could have been rehomed as a puppy as far back as 15 years ago. Doesn't matter that we don't recognize her... our chip, our responsibility for her lifetime. Not sure how her chip remained unregisteredb- that is a mystery. We just want to find her family and get her back home. Please keep your eye out for any Lost Doggie posts/ads in case we miss them.
