Hello all! My name is Divina and I am a voice teacher, singer, songwriter, producer, and vocal engineer and I can guarantee that I am one of the most skilled and knowledgeable teachers in the city! I am currently running a temporary discount for ONLINE LESSONS via the ZOOM APP and In person lessons at my studio! This is a perfect time (with all the free time many have with social distancing) to work on creative skills. Its important to keep ourselves engaged with each other and our creative energy! I have also discounted my rates (listed below) to accommodate. I am beginning to SAFELY conduct in person lessons soon as we role out of quarantine restrictions. Luckily, my studio is VERY big and there is plenty of space to stay 6 feet and more away as we have voice lessons! I will always have safety precautions set up upon arrival. (hand sanitizer, washing hands as soon as you arrive, mask etc.) About me: I have extensive training and performance experience in a wide variety of musical genres. My clients sing everything from OPERA to POP / R&B and much more. And ALL of my students make dramatic changes just within the first couple of lessons! There is NO GENRE OR STYLE OF MUSIC that I am limited to teaching! (if desired) Music Experience & Education : I graduated with a BM in Vocal performance from one of the top music programs in the country(UNCG), where I was trained by one of the BEST voice teachers, as well as one of the best vocal therapists at UNC-Chapel Hill Voice Center in vocal health and pedagogy. (I was methodically taught how to care for injured vocal cords and how to get them back to health, Correct and healthy speaking habits, and even eliminating body tensions and habits that stop you from letting out your true voice) In college I was trained in opera, musical theater, and jazz. But after I graduated with my music degree and performed for a few years, I moved to LA and began apprenticing for some producers in the music industry that taught me how to songwrite, produce and engineer multiple popular music genres.
