Anyone interested in forming a Steely Dan cover band? There seems to be an audience for it. I'm a professional bassist, somewhat professional guitarist, professional horn arranger, semi-professional trombone player. LOL I can sing backgrounds and even a lead vocal here and there. I'm open to playing any of the above instruments. I'd love to find pro level players but with a bit of a weekend warrior attitude. I definitely don't want "sounds great. I'm in. Let me know when you have a gig" type musicians. Hope to find players who enjoy the music enough that rehearsals are fun for them and gigs are not THE most important thing. Especially at first. Besides playing from the record covers, I'd also like to try rearrangements, surprising medleys, and even SD mash ups. Who's in? Best, David
