Meet Atlas! He is a housebroken, neutered, male 8-9 year old pit/lab mix who is a good boy! He is loyal, obedient, but afraid of thunderstorms and fireworks. He uses a doggie door and would do well in a home with a stay at home person. He loves to fetch, is great with children, and has no medical issues. He has been around chickens, a goat, and other dogs. He ignores the chickens and goat, and is fine with the female dogs. When the male dog comes home (from college) Atlas will start marking, but temperment wise he gets along with all three dogs just fine. His owners divorced and left him behind. We have been "hosting" him but already have three other dogs and are feeling overwhelmed! He sleeps with a security blanket and chews it. Does not chew furniture or shoes, but does chew dog toys if bored. He loves car rides and is a good traveler. He is a good leash walker, but very strong. Please give him a good home!
