NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Tennis players have something to look forward to in New Rochelle. The Pinebrook Tennis Center will open for limited use/single play only Saturday, May 16.
Organizers said the hours through June 26 will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. (dusk) Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. (dusk) Saturday and Sunday.
Due to coronavirus restrictions and public health guidelines, the New Rochelle Department of Parks and Recreation is adhering to the following rules until further notice:
Residents only — no guestsSingle play only — no doublesNo lessons, including privateRestrooms are closedNo congregation: removal of chairs and benches. All players should leave immediately after playWhile waiting to play, please remain in or at your carPlayers are limited to one hour of play, unless courts are not busyThere is no daily fee to play if you do not have a valid tennis card.
