He's no longer president and yet he still has a strong hold on the Republican party. That would be the party that had Supreme Court Nominees outright lie about their opinions on Roe v Wade and the precedent that was set by being reaffirmed. The mistake people are making right now is that their potential ruling is only about abortion. IT IS NOT! It is about 'Women's Rights' and what the 'over the top' conservative Republicans want to deny Americans next. Could it be interacial marriage? How abot gay marriage? Maybe contraception? Yes, there is a radical group of Republicans who want to make contraception illegal. They're banning math books in Florida and burning books in Tennessee. Republicans are out of control - it's their way or no way at all. Donald Trump has launched the United States on the path to fascism. He wants to be a dictator and many in his party support that idea. He/they will control every facet of our lives. Mandating that a child, raped by her father, carry to term and be forced to suffer the pain of child birth is just the start. People have to stop reading the newspaper from the back where the sports pages are to the front where stories about what is happening in America today. Fascism CAN happen here. Do some reading on Hitler and understand how his rhetoric and HIS rallies influnced people to hate the Jews and compare it to what is being said by Trump (The BIG lie) these days.
