Description
We have sadly made the decision to rehome our husky Aries. He is 3 years old, born in January 2019, he’s been a part of our family since April 2019. He’s very vocal, playful and energetic. We have 2 other large senior dogs (12 & 14) who he is very well around but can get a little rough with once they all start playing. I’m unsure about smaller dogs. He’s great with older children, he’s around my 10 year old constantly, plays well with him. We have a 1 year old as well and he’s showing some jealously with her so I do not believe a house with small/young children would be the best fit.
Between our work schedules changing and both of the kids, we are stretched very thin with free time to take him on walks and to burn out some of his energy. I work from home with the 1 year old during the day so he’s use to someone always being home. He has been crate trained previously but we have not crated him in about 6 months. The crate is always open, he’s free to go in and lay down whenever, we have just not directly told him to use it in roughly 6 months.
We are heartbroken coming to this but he needs more time than what we can give him. We would love for him to go to a family that would like to still share pictures here and there. Please do your research on Huskies if you have never owned one before. There is tons of hair, he’s very vocal, he needs to be worked and played with.
Please text me if you have any questions or would like more pictures. Calls are okay but you will most likely have to leave a message if it is during work days/hours.
