Struggling to get back on track. Was doing Instacart & DoorDash everyday, until last week. On Tuesday, my 2013 Ford Explorer XLT decided to overheat without warning, and despite pulling over almost immediately, apparently the water pump leaked and now there is water in the engine oil. Ive been told I'm screwed. I need this car to survive, work, get food for my dog/cat, and make it to medical appointments at Loma Linda Veterans Hospital. One person told me the repairs were going to be well over $2000! I still have $285 monthly payments and full coverage insurance to pay. Unfortunately, I already had to use all my savings to get Veterinary care for my dog, so.........I'm screwed! If anyone is able to help me get a discount on repairs, or is feeling philanthropic and might be able to help with some repair costs, anything at all, I would be so amazingly grateful! I'll be happy to even do work for you, I have many skills. If you feel you may be interested in helping, or, even just offering some useful advice, please reply.
