Description

Join us for a spring open house to meet leaders and alumni of Baltimore-based incubators/accelerators, fellowships, and leadership programs. Calling all current and future social innovators, nonprofit and civic leaders in the greater Baltimore area: Are you interested in accelerating your growth as a community or business leader? Are you curious which programs might be the best fit for you, and want to speak with program leaders and alumni to hear first-hand accounts of the value of programs? Are you tired of searching the internet to learn about options for best "next steps" in your journey? We hear you, and that's why BELN is coming together to launch our first-ever in-person Spring Open House. We're bringing together leaders and alumni of Baltimore-based incubators and accelerators, fellowships, and degree programs to provide a space for you to learn more about our programs, hear about upcoming deadlines, and decide what might be a next step in your journey. Learn more about organizations invited to participate here. Space is limited, so please make sure to RSVP! For the health and safety of all individuals, masks will be required. About BELN: The Baltimore Entrepreneurship and Leadership Network (BELN) is an emerging cohort, connecting the directors of fellowship and degree programs that support participants' growth as leaders and social entrepreneurs. BELN members offer participants diverse ways of learning, including study, reflective learning, skills-building, peer exchanges, community partnerships, mentorships, and networking. Our participants are current or aspiring leaders in the nonprofit, private and public sectors. We help participants strengthen the entities where they work or with whom they have internships or partnerships. We view entrepreneurship and leadership as vehicles for listening to, learning from, and working with Baltimore residents, to benefit individuals, families, and their communities. In partnership with residents, our programs seek to address Baltimore City’s racial and wealth inequities. Event Host: The event will be held at Johns Hopkins FastForward U (320 W 29th St #200, Baltimore, MD 21211). Parking is available in the police parking lot across the street, or near R. House.
