The real estate industry has been expecting the market to Shift for quite some time. In fact, the last shifting market occurred 14 years ago. That’s roughly 4-5 years longer than typical. Well, we are actually starting to see the beginning signs of the Shift. However, a “change” in the market does not mean anything other than the fact that it is just that….a change. Many years ago Gary Keller wrote a book titled Shift, appropriately enough. What he teaches is how to not simply survive a Shifting market, but, Thrive through it. NO market should ever dictate a real estate agents’ income.
