Let’s grow together and in our faith as we follow Christ’s example of serving others! Join Peculiar On Purpose for our Girls + Gardens Community Service Event as we partner with Oak Cliff Veggie Project (OCVP) to serve in their 10th Street Community Garden! This event is part of OCVP’s monthly “Cultivate The Community” event series. Let’s roll up our sleeves and get to work as we help this amazing organization cultivate this historic garden while handing out fresh produce to the local community. During this event, we will: Sort and distribute fresh produce; Hull and rake mulch, pull weeds, and lay compost; Help with garden preparation; And much more.Reminders Volunteers should arrive by 9am.Dress in comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty.Long sleeves and/or bug spray is recommended since we will be outside working in a garden.Don’t forget to bring water!Register today!
