Adorable older kitten seeking a good home with caring owner

We are looking for some caring, experienced people who would like to adopt our adorable kitten! This female kitten is now about 8 months old and has been raised with much attention and love by their mother and our family. Over the past approximately 5 months, she has lived with our family and our older cat, Patch, indoors. She is a black, tan, and white calico kitten, with most of her coloring on her face, neck, and mixed in on her body. Our older cat is adapting to this kitten we call Pumpkin, and Pumpkin is comfortable with our mid-sized dog also. Since the kitten is still a little shy, though, we think that there is a better, more suitable home for Pumpkin somewhere with a caring family or individual who has time to give her the attention she deserves. Also, our older cat and our dog, Sable, might never totally accept Pumpkin. Since we have gotten to really care a great deal for this kitten, we want her to have a happy home that suits her fun, affectionate and loving personality. It's also possible this kitten might work out well for people who have another kitten or possibly a young, neutered male cat, especially one who seems bored or lonely now. Since Pumpkin has had fun in the past with her littermates, we think that she will adapt well to either a household where she would be an only kitten with adults and family around, or even to one where she would be a good playmate with a young, neutered male cat. However, we suggest that she not be placed in a home with a dog unless the dog is already cat-tolerant. This kitten has already learned a lot in her litter-box training, and we've seen that she is now fully litter-box trained. She really enjoys running around the house after she eats dinner & has her high-energy time. She enjoys eating moist food most often, but also likes dry food when there is no moist food available. She also enjoys eating small amounts of thinly sliced turkey, ham, chicken or sometimes even a little canned fish as a treat. Usually cats like these treats if you continue sharing them with the kitten early in life. We would be glad if anyone interested in adopting her would contact us with some brief info about who would be available while she is adapting to her new home with you.
